Overview

Summary

The Product/Offer Management Director is accountable for the introduction, field acceptance and acceptance by the C1 Maintenance and managed svc team to support ongoing lifecycle management of ConvergeOne's full portfolio of Service and Product offerings. This includes partnering with team members who are responsible for individual offers and functions. Practice Director provide the technical portfolio roadmap.#LI-JM1

Responsibilities

Essential Functions

    Assumes responsibility for the introduction of the holistic offer on time, on Specification and on budget
    • As defined by the Business case
    • Directs and oversees all aspects of Product/offer Management, including understanding market demands, technology trends, and the competitive field
    • Develops Product requirements document with Sign off from Practice Director, CTO and sales representative (Sponsor RVP)
  • Includes the planning and execution of offer launch, field engagement and education via coordination with marketing and Field operations
  • Ensures all support and services functions are finalized and approved via QG process including but not limited to: costing, pricing, PS and MS support etc.
  • Assumes responsibility for acceptance by Field and Services organization after field implementation
  • Develops the realization of the offer roadmap based on practice Directors portfolio technology roadmap
  • Launches messaging based on content from Practice Director, the OM aligned with Marketing for use on: website, social media, blogs, white papers and industry papers

Additional Specific Duties and Responsibilities

  • Interacts frequently with customers, as well as internal, Operations, and Executive leadership teams
  • Works independently in a dynamic environment; project managing and tracking progress to meet deadlines and objectives
Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years Product Management experience in IT products/ services industry
  • Complementary experience in Marketing or Financial Analyst roles
  • Deep knowledge or experience in Professional, Maintenance, Managed, and Cloud Services
  • Working Knowledge of Enterprise Communications product technologies, such as
    • Unified Communications, Contact Center, Mobility, and Voice/Data networking products and solution for small, medium, and large businesses
  • Familiarity with ITSM (IT Service Management) concepts, practices, and procedures
  • Strong Business Acumen and Financial background, including P&L and Business Case development
  • Proficiency in all MS Office applications. Advanced Excel skills

  • Sales/Presales Support and Supervisory experience
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to work in a cross-functional environment, directing teams that may not directly report to the individual
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines with minimum supervision
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written), as demonstrated through professional and personal achievements
  • Vision, creativity, intellectual curiosity, and the desire to constantly keep up with new aspects of the business
  • Ability to effectively negotiate and communicate in a collaborative style with a wide variety of audiences - Sales, Technical, Operations, and Business/Executive leaders inside and outside ConvergeOne

Pay Range

$120,000 - $150,000

Base pay ranges are estimated. Actual base pay will be based on education, experience, location, certifications, skill set, and any other relevant factors. Incentive/variable pay opportunities are in addition to base pay.
