Job Description

Summary

  • For a limited time MaineHealth is offering up to $20,000 Sign on bonus for all eligible experienced Respiratory Therapist

    Eligible candidates are hired (offer accepted) into a Full or Part time RT position. Bonus amount prorated for Part time hires, per diem hires are ineligible.

    Current MaineHealth member employees are ineligible; former MaineHealth Members are ineligible until greater than 6 months separation from employment.

    Position Summary
    • A Respiratory Therapist I is responsible for performing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures as required by the hospital and within the scope of licensure in Maine.
  • Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
    • Education: Graduate from an approved one, two, or four-year college.
    • License/Certifications: CRTT or RRT with appropriate State License. BLS. ACLS within two years of hire. PALS within two years of hire.
    • Experience: Due to institutional size and often-limited training opportunities, a candidate with two to three (2-3) years critical care experience is preferred.
