Summary

For a limited time MaineHealth is offering up to $4,000 Sign on bonus for all eligible Certified Nursing Assistants!

  • Eligible candidates are hired (offer accepted) into a Full or Part time CNA position. Bonus amount prorated for Part time hires, per diem hires are ineligible.
  • Current MaineHealth member employees are ineligible; former MaineHealth Members are ineligible until greater than 6 months separation from employment.
  • Position Summary
    • The Certified Nursing Assistant/Unit Coordinator performs clerical duties for the Unit and acts as receptionist to patients and visitors arriving in the department. Utilizes computer to update pertinent patient information. Performs Certified Nurses Assistant (CNA) duties as appropriate for the Unit and as qualified.
  • Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
    • Education: High school diploma, general education degree (GED) or equivalent is preferred
    • License/Certifications: Active Certified Nursing Assistant (Maine) required. BCLS certification, CPI annually as directed by organization.
    • Experience: Medical secretarial background and knowledge of medical terminology preferred
    • Detail-oriented and able to complete projects independently
