We are currently seeking an experienced NDE engineer to help coordinate and execute project tasks. Our clients rely on our NDE engineers to find solutions for new inspection challenges, or to evaluate their current NDE procedures/techniques and provide recommendations for faster, more accurate inspections. This posting is ideal for someone with three to five years of technical experience with NDE methods. Ideally, the engineer will have hands-on expertise in NDE processes such as radiographic testing (RT), ultrasonic testing (UT), electromagnetic testing (ET), thermal/infrared testing (IR), liquid penetrant testing (PT), magnetic particle testing (MT) and visual testing (VT). As well as knowledge with advanced NDE methods such as phased array ultrasonic testing (PAUT), eddy current array testing (ECA), PAUT & ECA apparatus design, computed tomography, digital radiographic testing, flaw recognition software development, and in-situ NDE process development for welding, cold (thermal) spray and additive manufacturing processes. Knowledge of inspection methodologies and associated field practices and standards used in the oil & gas, aerospace and automotive industries is a plus.
