      Pharmacy Technicians are essential members of the pharmacy team at Maine Medical Center, providing support for multiple facets of the pharmacy, including exceptional customer service. The Outpatient Infusion Pharmacy Technician II technician is a proficient pharmacy technician in all core functions of the pharmacy. The technician assists the pharmacist by preparing and distributing medications, maintaining drug inventory and pertinent patient records. The technician also identifies opportunities for improvement in work processes and actively contributes to the implementation of improvement efforts. Additionally, the technician will perform other related and assigned duties.
  • Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
    • Education: High school diploma, GED certificate, or Associate's Degree is preferred.
    • License/Certifications: Currently licensed as a pharmacy technician in the State of Maine or currently eligible consistent with the current State of Maine Board of Pharmacy requirements. CPHT is preferred.
    • Experience: Greater than one (1) year of experience in a pharmacy, healthcare or related experience. New hires with greater than 1 year experience will have 6 months to meet essential functions.
