What you'll do:

SUMMARY:

The Shear and Press Brake Programmers/Operators positions are responsible for machine programming of controlled equipment in support of compliant, efficient, and profitable parts manufacturing and repair operations. The CNC role supports tool selections, layout creation and updates, and programming.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

The following reflect the essential functions for this position but does not restrict the tasks that may be assigned based upon changing business conditions.

* Prepare and operate machines to perform tasks such as cutting, bending etc.

* Understand specifications of the task at hand and the desired result by reading blueprints, mechanical drawings etc.

* Prepare and load raw materials and parts onto the machines

* Prepare a test run to check if the machines produce outputs according to specifications

* Shear or Press Brake programming

* Perform proper set-up and

What you need to be successful:

QUALIFICATIONS:

* High School Diploma, GED or equivalent

* Basic math skills; addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division

* AutoCAD and Solid Works training helpful

* Basic math skills; addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division

* Experience with Microsoft Word, Access, Excel

* Experience with Epicor

* Need to be able to understand fully utilizing all material being nested

* Translate the requirements of part drawings into measurements for production

* Ensure that every machine procedure is done in accordance with the strict guidelines of the company

* Follow all company safety protocol

* Ability to work in a team environment

* Ability to maintain attendance within company guidelines

* Ability to retain and apply instructions

* Must be detail orientated

* Ability to multi-task, effective time management skills

* Ability to read and understand trucks specifications document

* Ability to communicate and understand in English
