Summary

LincolnHealth, Damariscotta, ME is part of the MaineHealth System AND has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Full-Time Certified Nurse Midwife to join our Women's Center Team at the Watson Health Center. Certified Nurse-Midwives (CNMs) are highly trained health care professionals who provide care for women from adolescence through the end of life. They manage women's health care, focusing particularly on pregnancy, childbirth, the postpartum period, care of the newborn, and the family planning and gynecologic needs of women. CNMs practice within the health care system and perform consultation, collaborative management, or referral, as indicated by the healthcare needs of the client. Practice is in accord with the Standards for the Practice of Midwifery, as defined by the American College of Nurse-Midwives.

Desired Qualifications & Experience:

  • Successful completion of an approved Masters prepared Nurse Midwifery program.
  • Licensed State of Maine as a Registered Professional and Advanced Practice Nurse.
  • AMCB Certification.
  • DEA license to prescribe medications.
  • NPR/BLS Certification
