Summary

For a limited time MaineHealth is offering sign on bonuses for Medical Assistants:

  • 0-1 years of experience eligible for $4,000 (full time)
  • 1+ years of experience eligible for $5,000 (full time)
  • Eligible candidates are hired (offer accepted) into a Full or Part time MA position. Bonus amount prorated for Part time hires, per diem hires are ineligible.
  • Current MaineHealth member employees are ineligible; former MaineHealth Members are ineligible until greater than 6 months separation from employment.

Mid Coast Medical Group -Primary Care | Conveniently Located Downtown at Brunswick Station (midcoasthealth.com) has an immediate need for a full-time (40 hours per week) Medical Assistant to join our care team. The Medical Assistant will function as a team member of the Mid Coast Medical Group and will facilitate the goals of this office which are:

  • To deliver quality patient care which includes maintaining strict patient confidentiality.
  • To present a positive and respectful attitude to the patient and community for Mid Coast Medical Group and Mid Coast Hospital.
  • To operate efficiently and ensure prudent use of resources.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

  1. Education: Graduate of accredited Medical Assistant Program (medication administration must be component of the program). Associate or Applied Science degree preferred.
  2. License/Certifications: Receive Medical Assistant certification within one (1) year of hire date. Maintain certification including recertification every five (5) years (as required by the American Associate of Medical Assistants [AAMA]). Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or obtained within three (3) months of hire.
  3. Experience: N/A.

Mid Coast Medical Group-Bath Internal Medicine features an on-site lab and can frequently provide same-day appointments for the convenience of our patients. All of the practice's physicians are board certified and offer personalized, patient-centered care through regular check-ups and other office visits.
