Job Description

Summary

  • Position Summary
    • The Program Manager works as an integral member of the multidisciplinary team addressing the challenging behaviors and skill deficits exhibited by patients on the developmental disorders unit. This position is a BCBA or Psychologist with expertise in applied behavior analysis who is actively involved in supporting the development and implementation of behavioral assessment and treatment procedures, clinical and milieu programming, and caregiver training and support. The position directly supervises the milieu coordinator and behavior tech staff on the unit. The program manager reports directly to the Director of Behavioral Services and works collaboratively with nursing leadership in the coordination, supervision and provision of care on the developmental disorders unit.
  • Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
    • Education: Master's degree or higher
    • License/Certifications: Certification from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst or as a licensed psychologist with expertise in applied behavior analysis required.
    • Experience: Experience supervising direct care staff working with children with autism and intellectual disability.
    • Must display strong interpersonal, planning, and analytical skills, professionalism, and maturity
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills
    • Ability to adapt readily to change, work flexibly within a team, and work within a fast-paced environment
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel required
